STUDIO ETIQUETTE

-No gum or food allowed in dance rooms. Water bottles may be brought in dance rooms. Parents and students are responsible for supplying water and snacks.

- Viewing windows are available for friends and family of dancers. Please do not communicate with dancers through window.

-Do not open classroom doors at any time and disrupt class. Please phone or see office staff if you need to speak with your child, to schedule a meeting with a teacher, or for any other emergency. If no one is in the office, please wait until class is dismissed to speak with teachers or students. Tardy students may enter quietly.

-Students need to arrive BEFORE class is scheduled to start. Student must be completely dressed with hair secured before they walk in class room door. Teachers are not responsible for dressing or securing students’ hair!

-Parents please drop student off in front of door, or park and walk student to door. Parents have the choice of dropping student off at studio, or waiting in lobby and utilizing viewing windows. Please pick up students in a timely matter. If you will be late picking up your child, please phone the studio and inform the office. DO NOT ALLOW STUDENTS TO WALK OUT INTO PARKING LOT TO LOCATE YOUR VEHICHLE! Please park, and come inside to pick up your student. Safety is key!

-All students must keep personal belongings and clothing in dressing room. The studio is not responsible for any lost, stolen or missing items. Please be sure and check dance bag, purses, backpacks and etc., before leaving studio. Do not bring large amounts of money or anything of value in the dressing room!

- Students and staff are expected to act with integrity, grace, and kindness. Any student found ridiculing/disrespecting a student, using foul language, horse-playing, or disrespecting an instructor will be verbally reprimanded and/or asked to sit and observe class. The instructor will contact parent over the phone or set a meeting with parent if deemed necessary. Any parent or student wishing to speak or meet with staff member or owner for any reason is encouraged to contact office. Please do not keep instructors from beginning class on time, or staying late past studio hours

ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR A COVER UP OUTSIDE THE STUDIO!!!
The safety of our students is our number one priority, so we require each student to wear clothing to cover their leotard and tights. Please do not wear dance shoes in the parking lot because they will ruin. All students must have hair pulled back and secured in a bun for ballet classes. Bun may be taken down to a pony tail for all other classes. Please do not wear undergarments underneath leotard and tights. Black sports bras are permitted. Only small stud earrings may be worn to class. No loose necklaces, bracelets or dangle earrings.
